A small workshop that only makes back covers
PhoneX Services started on one bench in West Park with a stack of walnut offcuts and a stubborn opinion: a phone cover should fit one phone perfectly rather than five phones badly.

Why made to order
Mass-produced covers are made months before anyone buys them, which means they are cut from a shared template and finished in whatever is cheapest that quarter. The camera hole is close enough. The buttons are close enough. It is all close enough.
We do the opposite. Nothing is made until you order it, so we can cut the shell for your exact model, in the finish you picked, with your name pressed into the back. It takes two to four days instead of two minutes, and it fits.
It also means we carry almost no stock, so we are not throwing unsold plastic into a skip at the end of every product cycle.
What we care about
Measured, not guessed
Every shell starts from the handset itself. We fit each new model on the bench before it ever reaches the shop page, which is why the list grows slowly.
Finished by hand
Veneer is cut and bonded, leather is skived and stitched, colour coats are sprayed and cured. Nobody here presses a button and walks away.
Materials worth keeping
Walnut offcuts from a local joinery, full-grain hide from a tannery in Georgia, and TPU that does not go yellow after one summer.
The four finishes

Show the phone off
Transparent polyurethane
A clear, flexible TPU shell that keeps the original finish visible. Anti-yellowing, shock absorbing corners, and grippy without catching in a pocket.

Real walnut veneer
Wood finish
A slice of genuine walnut bonded to a rigid polycarbonate frame. Every panel has its own grain, so no two covers come out the same.

Full grain, hand stitched
Leather
Full-grain hide with a tonal stitched border that darkens into a patina as you carry it. Soft in the hand from the first day.

Eight soft-touch finishes
Custom colour
A soft-touch silicone shell sprayed in the shade you pick, with a microfibre lining inside to keep the back of the phone unmarked.
